CommonSight is a civic tech platform designed to connect Detroit residents and investors looking to improve neighborhoods. The app expedites the process of community development, allowing more people to get involved who otherwise wouldn't have access, while helping save the city money.
Detroit neighborhood improvement has historically been slow and inaccessible. Residents who want to see change in their communities have no direct way to connect with investors, and investors have no efficient way to identify where their resources are most needed.
We built CommonSight to bridge that gap — a mobile platform that puts residents and investors in the same room digitally. The app surfaces neighborhood data, connects stakeholders, and streamlines a process that previously required significant time and city resources.
CH Studios was contracted by We Change Community Consulting to lead development of the CommonSight iOS application. We owned the full mobile development lifecycle — from architecture and design through to implementation and testing.
Currently in active development under contract with We Change Community Consulting. Building toward a public launch serving Detroit residents and community investors.
